Donald Jasko to Moderate ContentWorld Panel, "Performance Verification
Technologies: Fingerprinting and Watermarking"
Santa Monica, CA June 19, 2003
Donald A. Jasko, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Economics, will moderate a panel on October 8, 2003 at the
ContentWorld Global Conference & Exhibition in Los Angeles. The panel will examine performance verification technologies,
and the manner in which they support the business models of content creators, owners and aggregators. "As less content is
sold, and more content is performed over broadcast and analog media, performance verification technologies are quickly becoming
a critical tool in monetizing performances," Jasko said. The panel will examine ways in which audio fingerprint and watermark
technologies enable content creators, owners and aggregators to determine where a performance has occurred, and assess the value
of that performance. It will also address ways in which data warehouses can increase the number of content contributors who can
benefit from a single performance detection.
The panel will commence on 1:00 PM on October 8. The ContentWorld Global Conference & Exhibition will be held at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel in Los Angeles.
The ContentWorld Global Conference & Exhibition features over 50 sessions organized into
four tracks: Workshops, Case Studies, Business Strategy, and Technology Directions. The conference program covers a full
array of topics relating to digital content, including Media Asset Management, Content Distribution, Digital Rights Management,
Metadata, Workflow, Content Collection Strategies, Content Taxonomies, and Streaming Technologies. For additional information,
